			General Notes for sizing purposes:  Please read before ordering. HINT:  Measure one of your favorite non stretchy cotton t-shirts to see what the width and length is and compare to the styles below.  Lay shirt down on flat surface, smoothing out wrinkles, and use a tape measure or yard stick to measure according to directions below.  We especially suggest this method for ordering youth shirts, since the size standards vary a lot from one brand to another. Length Measurement:  Start measurement where the collar meets the shoulder seam.  Measure down to the bottom of the shirt.  Chest Measurement:  Start measurement one inch below left armpit.  Measure across the chest to one inch below the right armpit.  With your Length and Width numbers, compare them to the chart assigned to the style of shirt that you want.  For preteens or teenagers who are long and narrow, I suggest checking out the Junior Girl Options.  The chest width from size to size increases by 1 inch instead of 2 inches, like what you would see in the Women’s Options. Shrinkage:  Assume, at most, shrinkage of 1 inch in length and ½ inch in width when you wash in cold and hang dry.  If you put in dryer, you will get more shrinkage.  We do not recommend using a dryer since it is too hard on the transfers and crystals, not to mention shrinkage of the cotton.  Andrea is happy to discuss sizes over the phone with you if you have questions regarding fit of the available t-shirts.  Please refer to the style names that are given the shirts on the website so that she is looking at the same size chart when discussing a comfortable fit for you. She will ask you questions about your weight, height, chest measurement, and tummy measurement.  This will help her to give you a knowledgeable suggestion.
